Winslow general manager of business development Stuart Jacquet said in a statement that it was important to recognise and assist sporting clubs across the region.
"We recognise that all sport really starts at a community grass roots level and that's where we're keen to lend a hand," he said.
The Ballarat Storm Junior Football Netball Club was the major precipitant, receiving $3000 from the company to help pay for a new scoreboard for the growing club.
The growing club, which was established in 2017, now has 13 junior boys and girls teams and has been using a small makeshift scoreboard operated by parents.
Other recipients included Ballarat Gymsports, Brown Hill Cricket Club and Basketball Ballarat.
Ballarat Gymsports received $1000 increasing specialist equipment for our Blind, Autistic and Special Olympics athlete programs.
Brown Hill Cricket Club received $1000 to help develop their third under-12 cricket team to help facilitate the club's growing numbers.
Basketball Ballarat received $1000 to also help facilitate their growing numbers as they broke their own record for most registered junior players in 2019.
