Waubra gun James Lukich is set for a significant period on the sidelines after dislocating his ankle in the team's big win over Carngham-Linton on Saturday.
Lukich had kicked 11 goals before sustaining the injury in the closing minutes of the game.
The star onballer/forward was stretchered off the ground and taken to hospital following the incident, which marred the team's 147-point triumph.
Waubra midfielders Paul Dodds (hamstring) and Andrew Wettenhall (head knock) also ended the afternoon on the sidelines.
For Carngham-Linton, Jake Pring injured a hamstring early in the game, while Dean O'Brien also sustained a head knock but came back on to the field.

Hepburn coach Clive Raak wasn't raving about his team's performance despite securing a solid 37-point win over Dunnstown on Saturday.
"It was just a win. To get out of there and win by six goals in conditions like that is pretty good," he said.
Onballer Tommy Horne was a standout for the Burras, which were led in attack by Sam Dunstan (four goals).
Dunnstown remains winless after 10 rounds and coach Justin Abrams is now looking forward to the upcoming clash with Rokewood-Corindhap.
"We played well and I would think if you spoke to Hepburn they would say our pressure was excellent," Abrams said.
Abrams said Josh Mann was knocked out during Saturday's match.

Brendan Sutcliffe kicked 10 goals as Gordon bounced back to winning ways against Rokewood-Corindhap.
Jaymes Gorman and Adam Toohey also booted five each as the Eagles clinched a 129-point win at home.
Gordon coach Ron Watt said it was good to have some pace back in the side with the recent additions of Gorman and Mick Nolan.
"It was good to get a good score and hold the opposition to a reasonable amount," he said.
Watt said defender Jarrod Evans would miss some time after suffering a broken nose during the match.
The Grasshoppers, which were led by Sam Chapman (four goals), have now lost every game since round three.

Buninyong made light work of a disappointing Creswick outfit which was a shadow of the side that upset Newlyn the week before.
The Bombers had Jarrod Morgan, Caius Barrenger and Derick Micallef boot five goals each in the 118-point success.
"Our first half was real good footy. It was really pleasing and we finished off the game well too," Bombers coach Shaun O'Loughlin said.
Wickers coach Ryan Knowles said his side's energy and pressure wasn't there.
"We just didn't turn up. They're a good side though...," he said.
Creswick veteran Tim Rieniets played his 350th open age game for the club in the defeat.

Newlyn produced the response that was expected in a big win over Ballan on Saturday.
The Cats, which were shock losers to arch rivals Creswick the week before, belted the Blues by 106 points.
Gun forward Marcus Darmody was wasteful in attack but still managed to kick a 10-goal haul, while Adam Sewell was again electric off half back for the winners. Onballer Luke Prendergast also played his best game for the year, according to joint-coach Dan Wehrung.
"The second half was great so I was really happy with it," Wehrung said.
Cats key forward Declan Lourey is expected to miss a few weeks after injuring a hamstring.
Ballan coach Tristan Batten said it was another disappointing day for his side, which lost to Springbank by more than 100 points in round nine.
"Apart from the second quarter where we kept them to a goal, we just weren't clean enough around the footy," Batten said.

Springbank landed its second consecutive win by more than 100 points with a demolition job on Clunes.
Billy Driscoll kicked seven goals and Sam Harkin six in the Tigers' 127-point victory at Wallace.
But it was onballer Todd Finco that set the game alight, with his performance described as "unbelievable" by coach Joe Otto.
Magpies coach Johno Leoncini said his team lacked any significant contributors.
"It was a poor performance on all levels, but you regroup and try to take some learnings out of it," he said.

Learmonth secured the four points it needed to jump back into the Central Highlands Football League top eight on Saturday at Bungaree.
The Lakies started strongly and opened up an early margin that was never threatened by the home side, which tried hard but eventually went down by 23 points.
Learmonth onballer Jason Rae was the major casualty, leaving Bungaree in an ambulance after dislocating his shoulder.
Rae had been playing his first game back from an ankle injury.
HEAR FROM LEARMONTH COACH NICK WILLOX
The win has booted reigning premiers Beaufort - which had the bye on Saturday - out of the top eight.
Bungaree coach Heath Pyke lamented a poor start to the game and reported injuries to Andrew Milroy (ankle), Charles Martin (neck), Grant Trevenen (hamstring) and Steve Ryan (cut head).

Skipton got off to a flyer in its clash with Daylesford and ran out comfortable 45-point winners.
The Bulldogs brought a potent brand of pressure footy which troubled the Emus at times, but Skipton managed to push through and break away.
Mitchell Bruns and James Cusack did most of the damage in the first term and gave Skipton a 27-point lead at the first break.
Bruns added a few more majors in the second term with support from Curt Townrow, Luke Bell and a cheeky mark and snap in front of goals from Jack Peeters.
With a 46-point lead at half time, the Emus looked set to bury the Bulldogs in the second half.
But Daylesford came out swinging after the main break and a cracking goal from Sam Winnard ignited a bit of a fightback.
It was a torrid third quarter and after a toe-to-toe contest the Bulldogs had chipped the margin back to 41 points.
But the Emus re-established dominance in the final term, peppering the goals with seven scoring shots to two. Goals to Andrew Pitson and Mark Hoare eclipsed the sole major from Daylesford's Winnard.
Skipton's best were led by Angus Mason, Lakota Stranks, Kal Dubbeldam, Cooper Henson and Adam Romey. Bailey Thompson and Hamish Young were also in the mix.
Daylesford's top scorer was Sam Winnard with three majors and the other multiple scorer was Dylan Muscat with two.
Winnard was impressive starting in the ruck and moving forward. He was joined in the fight by Cam Ralph, Tom Conroy, Josh Clough, Zac Tisdale and youngster Sean Naylor.
Naylor was one of three 16-year-olds in the Bulldogs side. The others were Adam Pasahidis and Luke Hallet.
Skipton coach Greg Middleton was happy with the win but concerned about the team's consistency.
"Our main focus is Carngham-Linton next week. It's a big rivalry. We've got to go into it with a bit better mind set. The past couple of weeks have been pretty ordinary performances," he said.
"We've got such a lot of potential in the side. But we're winning...and that's the main thing."
For Daylesford coach Tisdale, the result signified a "work in progress".
"We let ourselves down in the first half. Take the scoreboard out of it and we levelled things up after half time," Tisdale said.
"I think we won the second half. Positive signs... but still a work in progress."
Skipton is now fifth on the Central Highlands Football League ladder, while the Bulldogs are 13th.
