A spiked piece of metal discovered hidden on a fire trail in the Enfield State Park could have been a severe risk to emergency services, local residents say.

The welded device was found below the water line in a puddle on the track, after it blew out a man's tyres while he was riding in the park.
The man's neighbour, Bob Spagnolo, said it was incredibly dangerous, especially if a fire truck were to run over it.
"This is making something to hurt someone, it's not like this is a warning," he said.
"Out in the forest, it's heavily wooded, and the possibility of fire being out there - that's an active road the CFA would use, and what if the fire's burning along there, they're trying to save people's homes, and they get a flat tyre?
"It's just really dangerous - if people don't like something, there's avenues to report bad behaviour."
The item was found near Staffordshire Reef Road, on a public fire trail, on June 13.
If people find items in the bushland like the metal device, police advise phoning 000 and not leaving it for other users to stumble across.
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning was approached for comment.
