Wethling was sent to the tribunal after an investigation found he had a case to answer.
The Tigers' reserves player was handed a four-match ban for striking Creswick's Mitchell Jarvis and another three-match suspension for striking Jarvis' teammate Tim Jankovic.
The incidents occurred in round eight and then a probe was initiated by Creswick.
After interviewing relevant parties, the investigator found that Wethling should front the tribunal.
Springbank is currently on top of the reserves ladder. The Tigers have six more games before a round 17 bye. This means Wethling can't return until the second week of finals.
