Ballarat has played a strong hand in helping Victoria to its first Lord's Taverners Shield since 2014.
Nathan Mahar and Theo Arnold were part of the team that claimed victory at the 2019 National Indoor Cricket Championships in Cranbourne.
The boys helped the Vics score grand final success over South Australia in the competition for players with a disability.
Ballarat locals Jarrod Burns and Briony Polkinghorne were also part of respective Victorian men's and women's teams that lost grand finals.
Burns made 125 runs and took 10 wickets from his 20 overs. He was only two wickets shy of Victoria's leading wicket taker, Travis Baker.
Polkinghorne was Victoria's leading run scorer with 155 runs and also took 11 wickets from 18 overs.
She was selected in the Australian women's side, named on Saturday night.
