Perhaps the two biggest games of the weekend, eighth-placed Waubra will face off against Learmonth and ninth-placed Bungaree will host Skipton.
The Roos and Demons are tied on 28 competition points and separated only by scoring percentage.
Going into the match-up against Skipton, injured Bungaree player/coach Kathryn O'Dwyer says the only ting her team is focusing on is securing more victories.
"Every game is crucial," she said.
"We just need to keep winning, that what I've said to the girls and that's our aim... winning is the number one priority."
Weve been training hard, weve got our full team fit and I think everyones ready to keep up this momentum.
- Bungaree player/coach Kathryn O'Dwyer
Bungaree have won its last three games, including two tight contests against finals contenders Waubra and Carngham-Linton.
Looking at the prospects of finals, O'Dwyer said she is not limiting what her side can achieve if they sneak into the post-season.
"I think anything is possible and I think when you do have your full team together it makes a massive difference... we've only really had our full team available these last few weeks.
"I'm staying really positive and so are the girls so if we can stay consistent it'll give us the best chance to surprise people."
Kathryn O'Dwyer, who is the Demons' usual centre is still recovering from knee surgery and has been impressed by her sister, Grace O'Dwyer and her poise stepping into the mid-court role.
"Grace has really stood out in helping control the game through the middle of the court. I think everyone has stepped up over the last few weeks because they all know what's on the line if we don't perform."
Conversely the Roos are in for its biggest test of the season against a still undefeated Lakies side fresh off a 21-goal demolition of Buninyong at home.
