Scope, an organisation that helps people with a disability across Victoria, is holding its third annual Rainbow Colours exhibition at Trades Hall.
Featuring more than 30 artists across a range of mediums, the night will also feature live music from The SugarBelles, and an opportunity to buy the artwork on display.
Crucially, the night is a fundraiser for Scope's Lifestyles camp program - this year, participants will be visiting Melbourne to experience urban life.
Program leader Claire Hanrahan said the exhibition, which runs for one night only on Friday, will help support the initiative.
"The camps enable people to go out into the community and see stuff they wouldn't normally see," she said.
"They venture out as part of a group, with all their friends, just like you'd go on holidays."
Some of the art's also interactive, and people are encouraged to grab some of the bright flowers and take some selfies.
Many of the participants find the art program therapeutic - Georgia, who has beach scenes and an emu on display, said it was relaxing.
Nicola, who has several pieces on offer, including a pencil study of a ballerina, said she'd learned a lot.
"I've been doing the artwork since I came to Scope, for about three years - they've taught me how to paint," she said.
Her friend Emma was straight to the point.
"I like doing art," she said, before excitedly pointing out her pieces on display.
Friday's exhibition officially opens at 7pm at Trades Hall, with a gold coin for entry.
