The win held extra significance for the camp after earlier in the night stablemate All Cashed Up galloped in the closing stages and subsequently lost the three-year-old boys' final on protest.
Glen Craven was driver for both of Golino's horses and was thrilled with Im Ready Jet's impressive success.
"They put so much into the sport. Unfortunately that poor bloke (All Cashed Up)'s run three seconds in Group 1s now, but that's how it's going to be. This filly, she's something special," Craven told Sky Racing Active.
Leading trainer Emma Stewart captured two group 1 features at Melton on Saturday night.
Be Happy Mach was a dominant winner of the two-year-old colts and geldings final for driver Chris Alford.
A significant exclamation was put on the talented Mach Three colt's season as he charged away after a tough run to score a seven metre triumph.
Greg Sugars was at the controls in the next race as Maajida landed a huge win in the two-year-old fillies final.
Locally-trained Iolanta, for Mick Stanley, finished second almost 12m behind.
"Not only do they get the best out of them ability-wise but their manners are first class," Sugars said of the Stewart stable.
Stewart also landed the group 2 Breeders Crown Championship (four-year-old entires and geldings) on Saturday night with Tam Major.
