The Springbank superstar has played netball at the highest level both for club and for her country over a 20-year career.
Now, staring down a fifth consecutive grand final with the Tigers, Kydd says she is ready to go out on top.
Speaking to The Courier, Kydd believes if Springbank can play the way it played in its preliminary final win over Learmonth, she is confident they can win.
"If we play the way we did against Learmonth, we'll give ourselves the best opportunity to come away with a win," she said.
After falling short in the 2018 grand final to the Lakies, Kydd says it would leave a bitter taste in her mouth to leave MARS Stadium without a premiership at the weekend.
"Last year was so devastating, I definitely don't want to go out on that feeling."
Despite making the decision to hang up the boots at season's end, Kydd is still playing at a league best level, proven by her best and fairest victory in 2019.
The mother of four said the decision came out of wanting to take care of her body while her children got older.
"I'm too young to be waking up feeling this sore on a Monday morning... I have to chase after four kids under 10," she laughed.
Also calling it a day after Saturday's game is Kydd's husband Garth, who has coached the Tigers since 2013. Cynna spoke about how thankful she is that Springbank has allowed them to work together so closely.
Springbank gave me another chance - after seven years - to fall back in love with the game. Thats what a great club does.

"It's been amazing to be able to go on this journey not only together but with our kids, they've grown up around the club, it's just a shame they're all boys and we wont be able to make netball out of them," Kydd joked.
Kydd is ready for a tough game against the Burras, who have beaten the Tigers in both the team's meetings this season.
"They should be going in as favourites, they've beaten us twice this year and are a really strong team."
