But we promise, after one more day of chill and some rain today, it is fining up at last.
As predicted, Ballarat has only reached maximums of 10, 9 and 10 the past three days and we are unlikely to get above 10 again today.
On top of that, we've officially had 16.8mm of rain, but one look outside your window on Sunday and you would have sworn we have had more.
However the rest of the week the sun is finally expected to show itself.
After a chilly, but fine top of 12 tomorrow, the mercury will quickly warm up later in the week to 16 on Wednesday and 18 on Thursday. A slight cold front will whip through the state on Friday dropping the temperature back to 15, before a fine weekend, again reaching 18 by Sunday.
No doubt organisers of Ballarat's White Night and the Ballarat Football Netball League Grand Final Day which will both be held on September 21 will be hoping for similar conditions during the following week.
