The scoreline marked the largest of the season for the Reds who thrashed the Maribyrnong Greens at home on Saturday.
The win ensures a top-five finish for the club which has wrapped-up the season in fifth spot with a total of 11 wins, nine losses and two draws.
Six Ballarat players registered goals for the Reds, with Nicholas Lavery the only other player to score multiple.
The nine-goal haul marked the biggest yield of the year for Whitcher who finished with the second most goals of any player in the competition.
Ballarat coach Jamie Winton said the top-five finish was an accurate indication of how the team played this season.
Ballarat will not be eligible for promotion.
