TWO Ballarat boys have been charged following an alleged aggravated burglary in Torquay last Friday night.

It is alleged three males, from Ballarat, broke into a home in Park Lane, Torquay, about 10.30pm on September 13, before running from the premises after being disturbed by the owner.
The males allegedly fled the scene in the victim's car.
The trio was pursued by police before coming to a stop in Bailey Street, Grovedale, where they abandoned the car.
Police units, including the dog squad, immediately conducted a search of the area before arresting the three a short time later.
Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives interviewed and charged a 20-year-old Ballarat man with aggravated burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, evading police and other traffic offences on Sunday, September 14.
He faced an out-of-sessions hearing that day before appearing in the Geelong Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at court again on October 11.
A 16-year-old Sebastopol boy and 13-year-old Ballarat boy have also since been charged by police.
The 13-year-old was injured while being arrested by the dog squad and received medical treatment in hospital before being questioned by police.
Both boys have been charged with a string of offences including aggravated burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, evading police and other traffic offences.
The 16-year-old Sebastopol boy was remanded in custody to appear at a children's court on September 25.
The 13-year-old Ballarat boy was bailed to appear at a children's court on October 9.
