The buyers, according to real estate agent Andrew Lewis from Colliers, purchased the property for about $2 million.
The property includes the 1400 square metre church, hall, and four-bedroom manse, and has been sold as a package.
Mr Lewis added the Uniting Church was happy with the proposed use, as it will have a "low impact on existing buildings".
Methodist worshippers first held services at the site in 1863, and the church closed in April 2018.
The precinct went on the market in July.
Several other churches have closed and been sold recently, with the Wendouree Uniting Church closing in August.
