Newly appointed Miners Youth co-coach Ryan McKew has accepted an assistant coaching role for the Victoria Country Under-18 Men's Team, senior Miners assistant coach Matt Nunn has been selected as an assistant coach for the Victorian Under-20 Men and Miners Junior U18 head coach Joel Anderson will coach the Victoria Country Under-16 Men's team.
Each of the three coaches had tremendous success across 2019, with Nunn helping the senior Miners to a top of the table finish in the NBL1, McKew assisting the Youth Miners to a Youth League One Men's championship and Anderson leading the Miners U18 team to a hard fought 62-60 championship win in the VJBL U18 reserves competition on Friday night.
Leading for most of the game, the side outlasted Casey thanks in part to 23 points from Ethan Fiegert.
