By Irish-bred stallion Toronado, Affair To Remember earned a tilt at the three-year-old fillies' classic after scoring first-up in a maiden at Geelong on September 1.
Affair To Remember was a midfield sixth on debut at Ballarat in April and then sent for a break.
She followed up the win with a seventh in listed company at Caulfield on September 21, when she charged hom from near last at the 400m to finish within three lengths of winner I Am Eloquent.
The Thousand Guineas has just 11 acceptors, with the Cranbourne stable of Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young having a powerful hand with Acting (winner of her past three starts) and I Am Eloquent, which has won her past two assignments.
