Saker stepped down from A-Grade coaching duties after three seasons at the helm and two finals appearances.
The move comes following a desire to devote more time to his family going forward.
The club enjoyed a steady improvement under Saker's leadership after finishing at the bottom of the ladder for three straight years prior to his appointment.
After finishing second last in 2017, Saker led the club to post-season appearances in 2018 and 2019, failing to advance past the first week of finals in both years.
Saker said watching the club go from the bottom of the ladder to a finals contender was what he was most proud of.
"We were at the bottom of the ladder when I started, so to watch us go from where we were to where we are now has been very pleasing," he said.
The club is currently seeking expressions of interests to take on the vacant role for 2020.
