Only days away from her first game for the Northwest Florida State Raiders, Taylor, 19, told Basketball Ballarat she is gelling well with her new teammates.
"The first couple of weeks I focused on learning a slightly different style of play and gelling with my new teammates but I'm up for the challenge," she said.
Having played with some American players with the Rush over the past few years, Taylor said her adjustment to the American style of play has been smooth.
"Even though Australian (basketball) and college basketball is quite different, playing alongside professional athletes like Joy Burke, Chanise Jenkins, Olivia Hackmann and other experienced players has helped me develop and improve in anticipation for this opportunity."
Taylor will hit the court on Saturday at 12.00pm against Walbash Valley College at home which will be in the early hours at 4.00am on Sunday in Ballarat (Australia AEST) and streamed online.
