Wehrung top scored for the side with 16-points, making an efficient five from nine from the field, in Bendigo's 13-point victory over the Adelaide Lightning on Friday.
The match was the first of a two-game double-header held over three days.
The Australian representative contributed 10 points off the bench in the first-half, doing enough to earn herself match MVP honours.
"We were disappointed at the loss last weekend so we came out to do our job after a strong week of practice," Wehrung said following the game.
Wehrung backed up the performance with another strong outing on Sunday. The former Ballarat Rush player scored 13 points, including two made three-pointers, in Bendigo's 93-80 loss to the the unbeaten Southside Flyers in Melbourne.
The Spirit led by one point late in the third quarter before the home side's class and depth took over in the final term.
The weekend marked a return to form for Wehrung who had struggled to make an impact over the first three rounds.
The sweet-shooting guard only managed to reach double figures in scoring once prior to the weekend, which came in round two against the Perth Lynx.
Fellow Ballarat guard Kasey Burton, who signed as a development player in the off-season, has only hit the court in one game this season.
The Bendigo Spirit sit fifth on the WNBL table following the weekend with two wins and four losses.
The Spirit travel to Adelaide on Saturday for another clash with the Lightning.
