Ballarat fell to Monash University in a five-set thriller in the division one final, while the division two home side lost in straight sets to Dandenong.
It was the first time the league has been able to host the tournament in one venue, since it took up shop permanently at the Minerdome earlier this year.
League administrator Damon Minotti said the event was great.
