The teenagers travelled to Queensland this week to trial with the youth program of A-League club Brisbane Roar.
The 18-year-old defenders will spend a week training with the squad and participate in an internal game.
Ballarat City head coach James Robinson said it was a great opportunity for the boys to test themselves in the best youth development program in the country.
"It's an opportunity for them to step up and see what goes on at that next level and what's required," he said.
Brisbane Roar Youth are the reigning Y-league champions and are coming off an impressive 7-0 win over Melbourne Victory Youth.
Although no roster spots are guaranteed, Robinson said the exposure would be a great opportunity to improve his players' development.
"They have the capabilities to go to the next level, it's just making sure they take their opportunities and continue to drive their own standard forward," he said.
Baker and Regage are the fourth and fifth Ballarat City players to receive invitations to train with A-league clubs this year.
Robinson said it was a great achievement for the club, which hoped to give players a platform to be the best they can be.
"I think they're high-potential boys, but at the end of the day potential will get you so far," he said.
"Character matters too, and resilience, and sometimes it doesn't happen straight away. Sometimes it's about much you carry on and want to succeed."
