The accident occurred at Lake Gardens Avenue just prior to 5am.

The incident was responded to by firefighters, who shored up the house to prevent structural collapse.

The property sustained minor damage.

Paramedics treated a male at the scene. He was taken to Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition.
