McCain Foods announced on Wednesday it will partner with the event to sponsor the Road Nats community events, including the corporate ride, a bike education and skills session, the community movie night and the community run/walk.
What may be the most noticeable change coming as part of the partnership will be the re-naming of the start/finish lines at Mt Buninyong during the elite events.
Mt Buninyong will be re-named Mt McCain for the duration of the events.
Cycling Australia CEO Steve Drake said he was excited to work with the company ahead of the event.
"This event has grown significantly in scale and popularity over the last few years and this partnership is a good fit for us and McCain's Ballarat facility" said Mr. Drake.
"As more people get involved each year, we've been adding more inclusive events to the line-up such as the movie night and community run/walk."
