Parliamentary secretary for early childhood Sonya Kilkenny was at the Miners Rest Kindergarten on Friday morning to announce the program.
"This is funding that makes kindergartens more inclusive so that all children can participate," she said.
The Miners Rest Kindergarten has already benefited from the funding, using close to $150,000 to upgrade its lighting, modify the playground and install a range of inclusive resources such as sensory stepping stones and tactile paths.
"We can see here at the Miners Rest Kindergarten that they've made the outdoor playspace all inclusive... they've got a young child here in a wheelchair who previously wouldn't have been able to access the space," Ms Kilkenny added.
The funding will benefit a total of 54 services.
