The experienced Liam Gibcus and Daniel Joyce are the Hotondo Homes Miners' latest signings.
Gibcus captained the Miners in 2014, while Joyce had three seasons in Ballarat from 2010.
Gibcus has relocated to Ballarat with his employment, while Joyce will be reunited on the basketball court with his father Brendan Joyce, who is Basketball Ballarat director of coaching and Miners head coach.
The 208cm-tall Gibcus, who is originally from Melbourne, spent two years with the Miners after arriving in 2014 from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Gibcus, 29, said he was delighted to be back in Ballarat.
"Very excited to be back playing with the Miners again."
Gibcus iff coming off a break after not playing last year. "I can't wait to get back to playing again.
"I am looking forward to being back involved with the club again. Ballarat does a terrific job promoting the games and creating a quality atmosphere on game day.
"Obviously playing at the new stadium is exciting and I'm looking forward to help bring the spirit of the Minerdome to a new venue," he said.
Joyce, 32, was born in Ballarat and grew up in the city when his father initially coached the Miners.
He played juniors with Celtic Tigers before relocating to Wollongong
Joyce is a basketball journeyman.
He had stints with the Sydney Kings (2013-15), Gold Coast Blaze (2010) and Illawarra Hawks (2006-07) in the NBL.
He is relocating from the ACT, where has been with the Canberra Gunners in the South East Australian Basketball League and now NBL1 since 2013.
"I am ecstatic to be signing with what was my first NBL1 club," Joyce said.
"I've kept track of the Miners and kept in contact with some of the people.
"After what the Miners did last year, I am very keen to try to help them get to the next level and win it all," he said.
Joyce says it was not just all about the on-court opportunities that have have brought him back to Ballarat.
"The main thing I am looking forward to is once again being a part of an amazing community.
"I am also keen to play with a great group of guys that I have heard so many good things about," he said.
Basketball Ballarat elite teams manager Glenn White said it was great to see Gibcus and Joyce returning.
"They'll be beneficial to the roster. We're looking forward to seeing what they bring to the team." White said.
