Semi-finals are scheduled for 10am before deciders get underway at 5pm.
Some of the best players in the region have been battling it out over the past couple of days at the Ken Kay Badminton Stadium.
Players have been able to earn valuable world ranking points as part of their Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualification bid. In total, 132 players from eight countries are competing.
The VICTOR Oceania Championships was at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatics Centre last year, but has previously been in Ballarat in 2012 and 2014.
Following Wednesday's action, the men's and women's team competitions are played between Thursday and Saturday. For the first time, the para badminton championships (also Thursday through to Saturday) will take place alongside the able-bodied events.
