Our photographers were on the course for this year's Ballarat Cycle Classic, snapping mountain bikers, dogs walking the lake, kids returning from the adventure course, and the heroes completing the SPUD100 160 kilometre event.
There were costumes, cyclists riding for a loved one, and people out to claim a personal best - the wind and drizzle provided an extra challenge, particularly on the muddy mountain bike course and the marathon road rides.
The event, the signature fundraiser for Ballarat's Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute, raised a record $300,000 through entries and donations.
