Players and coaches will take part in various activities in the Bulldogs' heartland including school visits later this afternoon.
The team is scheduled to present 'Welcome to Bulldogs Read 2020' at the Ballarat Library at 12pm and the City of Ballarat will host a civic reception for the team at Town Hall at 1pm.
A meet and greet at the Bulldogs Shop in Ballarat will also be held at 4.30pm with select players available for autographs and signings.
Select Bulldogs players will also visit Bacchus Marsh and Melton throughout the day.
Now in its 18th year, the AFL Community Camp program will see 750 AFL players visit local schools, football clubs, nursing homes, hospitals and community centres across Australia.
The Bulldogs will return to Ballarat during the home and away season for clashes with Gold Coast in Round 8 on May 9 and Round 22 versus Port Adelaide on August 15.
