One hundred and fifty three years on, after multiple world wars, devastating epidemics and other disasters, your newspaper The Courier has not ceased to keep Ballarat informed about the worst and the best in the city.
The Courier is determined to keep bringing you the news you need about the city that matters to you - even through this current crisis.
We may have closed our office in Webster Street to the public in a bid to help flatten the coronavirus curve, but our journalists and photographers are still out there working hard to bring you the most up-to-date stories from around the city.
In keeping with recommendations by the Victorian Chief Health Officer to minimise transmission through association, our staff will all be working out of the office, continuing to bring you the best stories and images from across the region.
The Courier has also chosen to make a large part of the coronavirus public health stories free so that everyone can access the information they need across the community.
