Tammy Marriott said it was a fun activity for her kids - using recycled materials, they built, cleaned and set-up the little "shop" last week, similar to the tiny libraries hidden across town.

So far, that's included vegetables straight from the neighbourhood's veggie patches, books, jigsaw puzzles, toys, and a pair of gumboots - useful things, Ms Marriott said.
"I was thinking about how we can help our neighbours without actually seeing them," she said.
"Every morning the kids come out and put something on it, and then we check it morning and evening to make sure there's nothing old or that we have to clean."
She said already she's noticed a change, as people adjust to new social distancing rules - people are saying hello as they go for a walk around the block, and helpful items have been exchanged, like activities for the kids and - very briefly - a fresh roll of toilet paper.
"A local man grows stuff, and he brings stuff almost every day, which is good," Ms Marriott said.
"It saves us going to the supermarket, there's less handling, you're out in the sunshine, you're not in an enclosed area, and if you're really worried, you can just wipe it down."
The Ballarat East Exchange is on Specimen Vale South, around the corner from Gordon Street - a great place to go for a jog for fresh air, and perhaps swap a book or pick up a potato for the way home.
Remember to keep a 1.5 metre distance from others at all times, and only leave the house when absolutely necessary - the state government rules are for healthcare, essential supplies, exercise, or for work and education.
