The Patrick Payne-trained jumper is nominated for a benchmark64 handicap, 2000m.
A last-start winner on the flat at Werribee, the nine-year-old has developed into a favourite at Warrnambool.
The NZ-bred Zed Em won the 2017 Brierly Steeple, finished second in the Brierly and Grand Annual in 2018, and last year saluted in Grand Annual.
With this year's carnival reduced from three to two days owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Brierly and Grand Annual will be run on the same day - day one on Tuesday, May 5.
Ballarat Turf Club has eight races programmed.
The meeting was originally scheduled for Seymour, but was transferred owing to that track not being ready for a return to racing after renovation work on the racing surface.
