The critical service to Ballarat families will open its doors for the first time since it was shutdown for COVID-19 on Wednesday for booking only visits.
The global pandemic has created an unforeseen crisis in donations with items including valuable nursery equipment, clothing, books and toys to babies and school aged children.
Any financial donations on June 17 will be quadrupled which has been made possible through a gernerous donation through the June Wilson Trust.
Eureka Mums is a division of St Kilda Mums which also runs a Geelong-based branch.
St Kilda Mums chief executive Jessica Macpherson said donations were critical now more than ever, due to the onset of the colder months.
"Without your help, (we) won't be able to provide children and their families with warm clothing and nursery equipment to make it through winter," she said.
"Raising funds on the Giving Day will give us the opportunity to support families right through until the end of the year, all across Victoria.
"By giving a tax-deductible gift, you can help a vulnerable family with basic essentials like nappies, clothes, books or bigger items like a cot or a pram".
Ms Macpherson said the COVID-19 lockdown had been particularly difficult on young families, with many losing their one source of employment and an increase in family violence rates.
"Imagine having a tiny baby when your partner has become unemployed due to COVID-19," she said. "With so much fear and uncertainty about what the future holds, a time that should be full of joy is overshadowed by stress and anxiety."
The organisations receives no annual government funding and relies solely on donations to continue operating.
Eureka Mums will reopen for contactless donation drop-offs via an online booking system.
Strict distancing measures means the organisation cannot return as yet with the same amount of volunteers, and bookings will need to be made for clients to attend the Sebastopol centre. If you wish to donate, email donate@eurekamums.org
