A Canadian woman, who is fighting allegations she stole a car and put a loaded firearm under the driver's seat, has been remanded in custody until August because the case has not resolved.

Tenelle Carr, 33, has been charged with 15 offences including possessing an unregistered firearm, theft of a motor vehicle and thefts from shops.
She is contesting the charges relating to the firearm and two stolen vehicles, one of which was stolen from the Red Lion Hotel car park and later found with the firearm under the driver's seat.
Another stolen car was allegedly located in Carr's garage, although she claims she was not living at her house at the time because she had been evicted.
Police allege Carr was at the Red Lion Hotel's gaming room with a co-accused in December when she picked up a set of keys that had fallen out of a punter's pocket and fell on the floor.
Carr and her co-accused walked outside the venue and allegedly stole a Camry sedan in the car park, which was captured on CCTV.
About three days later, police made the firearm discovery along with numerous boxes labelled with the accused's name inside the car. Carr made a no comment record of interview.
Fingerprints found on the exterior of the vehicle allegedly matched Carr's DNA.
Carr appeared via video link at the Ballarat Magistrates' Court on Wednesday where she was told the next available contested mention date was August 12.
Magistrate Cynthia Toose said this was some time away but after looking at Carr's prior criminal history, she remanded Carr in custody saying she was content if Carr wanted to plead guilty before August.
Police prosecution said a stolen vehicle found in Carr's garage may be difficult to prove but the other car theft and firearm offences were a stronger case.
Defence lawyer Hollie Lyons said her client was not in the stolen Camry when it was found, her fingerprints were not found on the firearm and police could not make out knowledge.
She said the co-accused had not made admissions to the same charges.
Carr, who appeared in court via a video link, shook her head when she was told of the next court date. She was remanded to re-appear at the Ballarat Magistrates' Court on August 12.
