Cooney-Cross enjoyed a stellar season in the country's top women's competition as a member of the West Sydney Wanderers.
She marked her debut for the club with a stoppage-time winner in last season's W-League curtain raiser as the Wanderers beat Adelaide United 2-1
Her play saw her selected as a standby player for the Matildas World Cup squad last year.

She landed on the radar of selectors after impressing with her play as a member of the Future Matildas Asian Cup side in early 2019.
In January this year, Wanderers boss Dean Heffernan named her 'the next big thing' after scoring a double in a 5-0 demolition of star-studded Sydney FC.
She spent three years in Ballarat between 2013-2016.
