Riddell District Football Netball League on Tuesday night decided not to play seniors owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, it has not yet made a call on juniors.
The RDFNL will meet with junior clubs on Monday night to discuss the immediate future of the under-age competitions.
Riddell District joins Ballarat, Central Highlands and Maryborough Castlemaine District leagues as Goldfields competitions to call off senior seasons.
"The board wishes to thank all of our clubs for their patience and commitment to forging ahead with a 2020 season, but in light of the State Government's decision to lockdown 10 suburbs in Melbourne's north west, the board feels as if there is no way that our competitions can commence," a RDNFL statement said.
