The Swans have moved quickly to lock in the leaders with the Ballarat Football Netball League season not going ahead owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ballarat has also confirmed playing assistant football coach Andrew Hooper will stay in the role for another season.
Swans president Karl Drever said Carmody and Cross had led the playing groups through the uncertainty and challenges of this year exceptionally well.
"It's unfortunate for everyone involved that the season cannot be played, but with this announcement we begin the planning for next season," he said.
Cross said the netballers' positive attitudes and commitment to keeping fit was outstanding.
"Our players are really keen, they've got a great bright outlook on the future. We'll keep going, keep training. Hard work gets rewarded and we're looking forward to next year," she said.
