Two young men accused of setting fire to a stolen vehicle and driving at police in May are facing additional charges that reveal more serious offences as part of an alleged crime spree.

Jarrod Cakebread, 21, and Corey Blazevicious, 18, appeared at the Online Magistrates' Court on Monday for a filing hearing.
It is understood new charges were laid in June after Cakebread and Blazevicious were remanded in custody in late May and originally charged with a combined 43 offences.
The new charge sheets, obtained by The Courier, show Blazevicious and Cakebread are facing eight new charges relating to offences allegedly committed on May 22, 2020.

Both are accused of stealing a Nissan Pulsar from Soldiers Hill and a Ford Ranger from Canadian which they later set on fire.
Police allege they rammed another car a number of times at high speed, placing a person in danger of death or serious injury.
They are also accused of robbing a woman of her handbag while armed with a knife and causing serious injury to a person.
Blazevicious and Cakrebread's charge sheets obtained in May reveal other alleged offences including car theft, arson, dangerous driving and driving at police during a two-week period.
They will remain in custody and face a committal mention for the new charge on October 1.
