A pre-match brawl that broke out against Dunnstown in 2000 left people in hospital, law suits filed and the club banned from competing in all grades of football.
It was a time in which the club faced the very real prospect of ceasing to exist.
However, the three-year ban was overturned and the Burras were once again allowed to compete from 2001 onward.
From that point, they have become the undeniable powerhouse of the CHFL.
