The non-contact measurement drawn from the forehead can be totally inaccurate due to the outdoor temperature.
It would be natural for the skin on one's forehead to be several degrees lower on a cold day, than a temperature taken on a warmer day.
The method of taking measurements at the time a student enters school is flawed.
How many measurements are false due to a low reading?
Alternative practices are urgently required.
We need to get on top of this before it gets out of hand.
