The total number of active COVID-19 cases in Ballarat remains at eight and a total of 19 cases in the city since the pandemic began.
This stabilisation comes after Ballarat recorded three new coronavirus cases on Saturday.
Ballarat reported its first active case in two months on Thursday and a staff member of Ballarat aged care facility Bill Crawford Lodge was diagnosed with the virus on Friday.
Ballarat Health Services has today confirmed one resident of Bill Crawford Lodge has also tested positive to COVID-19.
A BHS statement released on Sunday said the resident had been in isolation since flu-like symptoms appeared and they were tested as soon as these symptoms presented as per current COVID-19 precautions.
The resident has been transferred to the Ballarat Base Hospital and is in a stable condition. The staff member has not needed to come to hospital.
"Staff and visitors who are identified as being a close contact of these positive cases have been contacted and immediately tested and will be followed up over the next 14 days, regardless of symptoms," the statement said.
"All other people who have visited or worked at Bill Crawford Lodge need to be vigilant for any symptoms, then get tested as soon as symptoms appear.
"Further deep cleans of all affected areas within Bill Crawford Lodge continue to occur daily and the highest level of infection prevention and control are being maintained while we work with residents, families and staff to ensure the safety and care of all residents."
A new secondary testing clinic was opened at the Ballarat Senior Citizens Centre in Ballarat Central on Saturday, in addition to the Lucas clinic.
People even with the mildest symptoms are encouraged to book a test by calling 1800 054 172. Tests are by appointment only.
Premier Daniel Andrews announced 363 new coronavirus cases were recorded across Victoria on Sunday.
The number of coronavirus cases in the local government areas surrounding Ballarat remains steady.
There are four active cases of coronavirus cases in Golden Plains and three active cases in Moorabool, showing no increases on Sunday.
There are zero cases of COVID-19 in Pyrenees Shire, Central Goldfields Shire and Hepburn Shire.
Mr Andrews announced new restrictions for Greater Melbourne and Mitchell Shire on Sunday, making it a legal requirement for all residents to wear a mask or face covering when they leave the house.
Wearing a mask or face covering remains a recommendation only for regional Victorians, however they will be subject to the mandatory order if they travel into lockdown areas.
People caught in lockdown areas not wearing a mask when appropriate will be fined $200.
