This is no exception for a Ballarat mainstay, which has been helping people get where they want to go for a decade and a half.
Travelex Ballarat turns 15 on Thursday, however store leader Carol Tilley said the best present the business could receive is community support.
"It's been a difficult six months... We suffered a hacking incident over the Christmas/New Year period so to go from that straight into this pandemic has caused things to really slow down."
While the travel agent is obviously unable to help organise holidays during the pandemic, Ms Tilley added the business is very much operating, only now primarily in buying and selling currency.
"At this point in time the only thing we're really doing is buying and selling foreign currency," she continued.
"We've found a lot of people have been sending currency overseas to help family and friends during this time. We've also seen people buying up rupiah to use next year in Bali."
