A MAN has been charged in relation to the collision which killed well-known Kingston man Norm Suckling late last year.

On Monday, Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives announced they had charged a man following the crash in Marong, near Bendigo, last year.
The crash, involving a truck carrying beehives and a motorcyclist, occurred on the Calder Alternative Highway at midday on October 29, 2019.
The motorcyclist - 64-year-old Kingston man Norm Suckling - died at the scene.
Following news of his death, Mr Suckling - who grew up around Mollongghip and lived in the region his entire life - was remembered as an innovative potato farmer who also stood up for farmers' rights.
He had a successful trucking business and was also a long serving, highly experienced and respected Country Fire Authority volunteer.
