Golf Australia has confirmed a relaxation of some measures for clubs located through regional Victoria.

Golf had been able to continue in regional areas through the latest stage three COVID-19 restrictions, but was subject to tight protocols, including a limit of two people per group unless you were from the same household.
Under the new step three measures in regional Victoria, Golf Australia advises that:
- Golf can recommence in groups of four
- Club competitions can be conducted
- MyGolf, Get Into Golf and other clinic or individual coaching can recommence in an outdoor environment for groups of 10 or less, plus a coach
- There are no travel restrictions on residents of regional Victoria
- Masks must still be worn
Golf Australia continues to seek clarification on the use of practice facilities, hire equipment and indoor coaching in a retail environment.
