The florist, who has been running two days a week in Macarthur Street, Soldiers Hill is using all of her takings to support people doing it tough across Ballarat.
The pop-up shop, which runs on Monday and Friday mornings and will expand to three days a week during December, raised more than $250 in September and is the brainchild of Ballarat woman Alison Robertson.
Ms Robertson, who moved to Ballarat in 2004 and is a well-known local musician, said she had been creating 'tussie mussie' which was a combination of flowers and herbs to sell to people.
"They are a combination of flowers and herbs which women used to get from florists," Ms Robertson said.
"They were very practical back in the day for women when cooking to have access to herbs and flowers.
"Everything that's being used has been given from people's gardens. We've got a huge bag of rosemary which will be used."
The pop-up florist shop is being run from 10.30am-12.30pm on Monday and Friday but will expand in December.
"I've had a lot of great feedback and people are really keen to see this expand leading into Christmas up until December 23," Ms Robertson said.
"The plan is to have a lot of small items and lucky dips which will be perfect to put in Christmas stockings and things like that.
"We made $250 in September and it's all going to help out people in the community."
Ms Robertson said her passion was supporting others who were doing it tough.
"I'm lucky, I've got a roof over my head, there are plenty of others out there that aren't so fortunate," she said.
"I'm also about sponsoring people on the fringes of the community. When I first moved here, I remember people sleeping near Civic Hall.
"If we can get rid of COVID, we can get rid of homelessness; we as community members and our governments should do more about it."
The pop-up florist shop is at 512 Macarthur Street, Soldiers Hill.
