The Central Highlands Football League will press on with plans to run an under-12 carnival after getting significant interest from member clubs.

On Wednesday morning, CHFL manager Diane Ryan said seven clubs had confirmed they would be part of the event, which has been penciled in for Sunday, November 15.
Ryan said there were potentially two more clubs that would commit to playing.
The state government has eased restrictions in regional Victoria during recent weeks, meaning community sport has been able to resume.
Earlier this year, four rounds of the under-12 season were played before the year was cancelled due to COVID-19.
A venue has not yet been confirmed, but it's understood Learmonth could be a likely host.
The Central Highlands Netball League has been invited to be part of the day.
