Bird-lovers are out and about with their binoculars this week for the Great Australian Backyard Bird Count.
The event, which goes from October 19 to 25, aims to expand our knowledge of the different species across Australian regions, as well as encouraging people to understand their local wildlife in more detail.
It is run by Australia's biggest birding conservation charity BirdLife Australia.
To take part, you need to record the species spotted in a particular location during a 20-minute period.
