A Sebastopol man has pleaded not guilty to 75 historical child sexual abuse offences which allegedly occurred over a 13-year period.

Daryl John Dixon, 53, was charged in June and August over allegations he sexually abused three children - two females and one male - between 1985 and 1998 across Melbourne's suburbs.
Charge sheets obtained by The Courier shows Dixon has been charged with 75 offences which include rape, sexual penetration of a child over the age of 10 but under the age of 16, indecent assault, committing an indecent act and making threats to kill.
There are three charges of raping one child at Croyden South between March 1996 and March 1998, and one charge of raping another child at East Warburton in December, 1997.
There are more than 30 charges of indecently assaulting and committing an indecent act with a child and more than 35 charges of sexual penetration of a child.
Dixon faces two charges of making a threat to kill another person allegedly occurring in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Dixon appeared at the Ballarat Magistrates' Court for a committal mention on Thursday where he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The case will now proceed as a straight hand-up brief to the County Court, which means a contested committal hearing has been bypassed in the Magistrates' Court.
Magistrate Ron Saines directed Dixon to stand trial and a direction's hearing was set down for February at the County Court in Ballarat.
The Knox Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team carried out the investigation.
Dixon is charged with summary offences relating to possessing child pornography and he has been assessed by Forensicare.
It is unknown whether these offences will be dealt with in the Magistrates' Court or the County Court. A special mention will be held in January to determine any issues of uplifting the matter and if it is not uplifted, it is expected to proceed as a plea hearing.
Dixon's bail was extended and includes he not attend international points of departure and not to contact prosecution witnesses other than the informant.
