Clarke trained the pacing mare and drove her for most of her career, which produced 11 wins and $50,000 in earnings.
Fleur Delacour's contribution has not stopped there though.
She has made an even bigger impact for the Clarke family as a broodmare and that successful run continued at Melton harness races on Saturday night when her daughter Miss McGonagall won her second grooup 3 race in a row and grandson Monsieur Delacour qualified for a group 1 Breeders Crown final.
Miss McGonagall kept a rare run of form going in the $30,000 Breeders Crown Graduate Mares Free-For-All, 1720m - backing from another win the $30,000 Silver Chalice, 2240m.
With James Herbertson in the cart, the four-year-old led and rated a slick 1:53.9.
She now has 11 wins and almost $140,000 in stakes.
Miss McGonagall is the second of two winners produced by Fleur Delacour.
Isabelle Delacour was the first with 10 wins before going to stud and producing Monsieur Delacour.
While he did not win, his fourth in a Breeders Crown semi-final was enough to get him through to the group 1 final for three-year-old colts and geldings.
This will be his second appearance in a group 1, having contested a Vicbred Super Series final as two-year-old.
Monsieur Delacombe did not win as two-year-old, but has improved leaps and bounds this season with six victories.
