The association is driving ahead with plans to get senior players back on court by November 30.
It followed a decision from the state government to permit contact and non-contact sport for all ages.
Under the last three steps of the state's roadmap to reopening, large multipurpose sporting facilities will be able to open with a 25 per cent total venue cap.

While aiming for next Monday, Basketball Ballarat interim chief executive Mark Valentine said there was still directives to be worked through.
"It's clear from the premier's statement that there is no distinction between juniors and seniors and we expect to be able to get up and running," he said.
Valentine said the association still seeked clarification around venue numbers. According to the rules, 20 people are allowed to gather in a group, however they do not specify if spectators are included.
He said clarification also needed to be provided around whether a single basketball court qualified as an 'individual space' allowed to hold 20 people.
"They sometimes throw these numbers out without fully understanding what it takes to run the venue," Valentine said.
Under Basketball Ballarat's plan, senior players would resume for three weeks from November 30 before stopping for Christmas. Junior competitions will also get the go ahead from the same date.
The junior comps will be a continuation of the 'lightening premiership season' launched in July.
"This gives everyone a chance to get back on the court," Valentine said.
"It will be good if it can happen."
As of Monday, teams and players were given the green light for full contact training, with no restrictions on who could train.
In July, Basketball Ballarat celebrated a successful return to junior competition before play was called off following a flair up of COVID-19 cases.
During the brief return, social distancing rules were enforced as soon as players reached the car park, with people forming orderly ques as they accessed their court before game time.
Prior to that, COVID-19 brought a halt to Australian Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup, which was set to be held in Ballarat in April.
Instead, the city will now host the Australian under-18 basketball championships in 2022.
