He lines up at the top level with his new club Yarraville-Footscray after playing with Deer Park in division two last summer.
The 15-year-old has been selected as a second to face Whittlesea on Whittlesea's greens.
Despite his youth, the St Patrick's College student is already an experienced pennant player.
He made his debut as a nine-year-old when he became a fourth-generation player from the Jones family to step out for Ballarat Memorial Sports in the Ballarat District competition - joining his father Craig and grandfather Ross as pennant players with the Alredton-based club.
His late great grandfather Charlie Jones played with Servicemen's Memorial, which merged with Ballarat City to form BMS in 2004.
Craig Jones said Oscar's latest achievement was a big thrill for the family, just as it been when first moved into BMS pennant ranks.
