Man taken to hospital after being stabbed

Emergency services were called to a Clarkson Street address about 6.30pm on Sunday after a report that a man had been injured.

A police spokesperson said that when police arrived at the address they located a man, aged in his 40s, who had been stabbed to the upper body, causing a minor injury.

To receive treatment for the laceration, paramedics transported the man to the Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition.

A female is assisting police with their enquiries.
